險惡（上香撿反杜預注左傳險亦惡也賈注國語危也說文云險阻難也從阜僉聲也下烏各反說文不善也從亞從西非也）。

險惡 (The upper character is pronounced 香 + 撿 fanqie. Du Yu's commentary on the Zuozhuan says: '險 also means evil.' Jia's commentary on the Guoyu says: 'Perilous.' The Shuowen says: 'Precipitous and difficult; it derives from 阜 with 僉 as phonetic.' The lower character is pronounced 烏 + 各 fanqie. The Shuowen says: 'Unwholesome; deriving from 亞 and 西 is incorrect').
