擔重擔（上膽藍反廣雅擔舉也字書云擔負也說文云從手詹聲下擔字去聲亦從手詹音占）。

擔重擔 ("bearing a heavy burden"; the first character, fanqie: 膽 + 藍. The Guangya says: "Dan (擔) means to lift." The Zishu says: "Dan means to carry on the back." The Shuowen says: "It takes 手 as semantic and 詹 as phonetic." The latter character dan (擔) is in the falling tone; it also takes 手 as semantic, with 詹 pronounced 占).
