癰疽（上迃恭反司馬彪注莊子云不通為㿈說文㿈腫也從疒雝聲雝音同上疽音七余反疽久㿈也形聲字也）。

Ulcers and abscesses (癰疽: for the upper character, *xū* - *gōng* fanqie [*yōng*]. Sima Biao's commentary on the *Zhuangzi* says: "Obstruction is an abscess [㿈]." The *Shuowen jiezi* says: "An abscess is a swelling." It takes the radical 疒 'sickness' with 雝 *yōng* phonetic; the sound of 雝 is the same as above. For 疽, the sound is *qī* - *yú* fanqie [*jū*]. A deep ulcer is a chronic abscess. It is a phono-semantic character).
