血脈（下猛伯反說文云血理之分耶行體中名之為脈從肉從𠂢作脈即反書永字也今時不知便從永作脉也）。

Blood vessels (for the latter [character 脈], meng + bo fan; the *Shuowen* says: "It is the branching of the blood patterns, coursing through the body; it is called *mai* (vessel); it is formed with 'flesh' (⺼) and with 𠂢 as *mai*, which is the character 永 written in reverse; nowadays people do not know this and write *mai* with 永 as 脉").
