筋骨（上音斤說文云筋肉之力也從肉從力竹者物之多斤故從竹會意字也）。

Sinews and bones (the former [character 筋] is pronounced jin; the *Shuowen* says: "It is the strength of the flesh; it is formed with 'flesh' and with 'strength' (力); bamboo (竹) is something with many joints (斤), hence it is formed with 'bamboo'; it is an associative compound").
