焦炷（朱喻反古作澍或作注諸字書竝無此炷字譯經者改水從火作炷形聲字也）。

焦炷 (Scorched wick: [炷 has the] fanqie 朱喻 [zhù]; anciently written 澍 or 注. In all the character dictionaries there is no such character as 炷; those who translated the scriptures changed the water [radical] to fire to make 炷, which is a phono-semantic character).
