[Cramped hand] (Fanqie of 倦 [k-] and 袁 [-wân]: the *Wenxiji lüe* says, "'Juǎn' (𤷄) refers to a hand where the fingers are bent and cannot be extended." It is formed with the "sickness" (疒) radical. The sūtra text writes it with the "hand" radical as 捲. The *Kaosheng* says, "It means exerting force and vigor; this is not the sūtra's intended meaning, and is an erroneous substitution").
