憺怕（上談濫反顧野王云憺謂恬靜也王註楚辭云安也說文從心詹聲下普伯反考聲云怕心安靜也廣雅云靜也說文無為也從心白聲也）。

憺怕 (The upper character is fanqie t[an] + l[an]. Gu Yewang says: '憺 means calm and tranquil.' Wang's commentary on the Chuci says: 'Peaceful.' The Shuowen says: 'It derives from 心 with 詹 as phonetic.' The lower character is fanqie p[u] + b[o]. The Kaosheng says: '怕 means mind peaceful and quiet.' The Guangya says: 'Quiet.' The Shuowen says: 'Free of active striving (wuwei); it derives from 心 with 白 as phonetic.')
