菲薄（上孚尾反郭注方言云菲謂微薄也形聲字也下傍莫反考聲云不厚也古今正字從草從水從博省聲）。

菲薄 (The first character has the fanqie 孚尾. Guo's commentary to Fangyan says: "菲 means slight and thin." A phono-semantic character. The second character has the fanqie 傍莫. Kaosheng says: "Not thick." Gujin zhengzi: semantic 艸, semantic 水, phonetic 博 abbreviated).
