煒曗（上韋鬼反考聲云煒光色盛皃也說文煒盛赤色也從火韋聲下炎輙反文字集略云曗光盛皃也說文曗亦光也從日業聲經從華作曄非也）。

煒曗 ('blazing and radiant'; the upper character is pronounced 韋 [wéi] + 鬼 [guǐ] fanqie. The Kaosheng says: '煒 [wěi] is the appearance of abundant light and color.' The Shuowen says: '煒 [wěi] is an abundant bright red color.' It is composed of 火 ['fire'] with 韋 as phonetic. The lower character is pronounced 炎 [yán] + 輙 [zhé] fanqie. The Wenzi jilüe says: '曗 [yè] is the appearance of abundant radiance.' The Shuowen says: '曗 [yè] also means light/radiance.' It is composed of 日 ['sun'] with 業 as phonetic. In the sūtra text, writing it with 華 as 曄 is incorrect).
