Śaṅkha, the country of Kaliṅga, the country of Mithilā, Pañcika, Elāpattra, the country of Gandhāra, the country of Vārāṇasī (痆 is pronounced *zhàn* + *xiá* [niè]; all are Sanskrit names of countries in India, as fully explained in the *Xiyu ji*).
