筋牽（上居銀反前諸法勇王經已釋訖下遣研反廣疋云牽挽也連也顧野王云牽亦引也說文從牛從冖玄聲象牛之牽也冂音癸管反俗從手作牽非也）。

Sinews pulling (jinqian; the upper character is ju-yin fan, already explained previously in the Sūtra on the Brave King of All Dharmas. The lower character is qian-yan fan. The Guangya says: "Qian means to pull; to connect." Gu Yewang says: "Qian also means to lead." The Shuowen jiezi says: "It takes the ox classifier and the cover classifier [冖] with xuan as phonetic, depicting an ox being led." The cover classifier [冂] has the sound gui-guan fan. Vulgar writing uses the hand classifier as 牽, which is incorrect).
