欄楯（上勒單反下垂𨳝反說文欄也檻也王逸注楚辭云縱曰欄橫曰楯楯間子謂之櫺子也）。

欄楯 [railings and balustrades] (The first character has the fanqie [勒+單] lán. The second character has the fanqie [垂+𨳝] shǔn. The Shuowen says: lán is a parapet. Wang Yi's commentary on the Chuci says: the vertical bars are called lán, and the horizontal rails are called shǔn; the spaces between the balusters are called lattice openings).
