梯隥（體奚反賈注國語云梯階也說文亦同從木弟聲下登鄧反愽雅云隥履依而上之也說文從阜登聲）。

梯隥 (ladders and steps: [the upper character] has the fanqie ti + xi. Jia's commentary on the Guoyu says: "Ti (梯) means stairs." The Shuowen also agrees; it is formed with the "wood" semantic classifier and the di (弟) phonetic component. The lower character has the fanqie deng + deng. The Boya says: "Deng (隥) means treading and ascending." The Shuowen says it is formed with the "mound" semantic classifier and the deng (登) phonetic component).
