戲論（希義反尒雅戲謔也廣雅邪也考聲弄也詩傳逸豫也說文從戈䖒聲也䖒音熈䖒字從豆戈音古禾反省從虛從戈作戱非也戈音與軄反謔音香約反）。

Conceptual proliferation (戲論: fanqie xī-yì. The Erya says: "Xì (戲) means jesting." The Guangya says: "It means perverse." The Kaosheng says: "It means sporting." The Shijing commentary says: "Ease and leisure." The Shuowen jiezi says: "Composed of the dagger-axe radical (戈) with xǐ (䖒) phonetic; 䖒 is pronounced xī, composed of dòu (豆) and gē (戈), pronounced gǔ-hé fanqie." The simplified form composed of xū (虚) and gē (戈) as 戱 is incorrect. Gē (戈) is pronounced with the fanqie of yǔ-zhí. Juè (謔) is fanqie xiāng-yuē).
