皎日（經了反日月明白也說文從白交聲經從日誤也下而質反）。

The brilliant sun (皎日: for the first character, fanqie jīng-liǎo; the brightness and clarity of the sun and moon. The Shuowen jiezi says: "Composed of the white radical (白) with jiāo (交) phonetic." In the sūtra text, writing it with the sun radical is mistaken. The second character is fanqie ér-zhì).
