毫氂（上胡高反下力馳反案九章筭經云凡度之始初於忽為絲十絲為毫十毫為𣯛說文毫𣯛二字並從毛毫從豪省𣯛從𣺶省皆形聲字也今經作毫𣀗不明字義誤也）。

Minute hair and fraction (毫氂: the upper character has the fanqie hú + gāo [háo]; the lower character has the fanqie lì + chí [lí]. Examining the Jiuzhang suanshu, it states: 'In all measurements, the beginning starts with a hū; ten hū make a sī; ten sī make a háo; ten háo make a lí'. Shuowen jiezi says: 'The two characters háo and lí both derive from 毛 "hair"; háo has 豪 abbreviated; lí has 𣺶 abbreviated; both are phono-semantic characters'. The present sūtra writes it as 毫𣀗, which fails to understand the meaning of the character and is mistaken).
