爪攫（居縛反說文攫[木*(丮-(舉-與)+干)]也蒼頡篇攫搏也淮南子云獸竆則攫鳥竆則啄是也[木*(丮-(舉-與)+干)]音居逆反）。

爪攫 (攫 has the fanqie 居縛 [j(ū) + f(ù)]. The Shuowen states that 攫 means seizing with claws. The Cangjie pian states that 攫 means seizing and striking. The Huainanzi states: 'When beasts are cornered they claw; when birds are cornered they peck'—this is it. The character [木*(丮-(舉-與)+干)] has the fanqie 居逆 [j(ū) + n(ì)]).
