鎔銅（上欲鍾反下徒東反漢書云猶金之在鎔也又云唯冶之所鑄也說文銅赤金也鎔冶器也二字並從金形聲字也）。

Molten copper (鎔銅: the upper character is 欲 + 鍾; the lower is 徒 + 東. The Hanshu says: "Just like metal in a mold." It also says: "Only subject to the foundryman's casting." The Shuowen jiezi says: "銅 is red metal. 鎔 is a casting vessel." Both characters are phono-semantic graphs formed with the "metal" radical 金).
