閩越 (The first character is *min* + *bin* fanqie; the *Zhouli* mentions the Officer of the Direction overseeing the people of the Seven Min; Zheng Xuan says: "Min is a distinct group; seven is the number of states subjugated by the Zhou." The *Shanhaijing* says: "Min is in the midst of the sea." Guo Pu says: "Min Yue is Western Ou, modern-day Jian'an." The *Shuowen* says: "Southeastern snake descendants; derived from 虫 with 門 phonetic; 虫 is pronounced *hui*").
