轅軸（上音袁說文云轅[車*冉]也從車袁聲下冲六反說文云軸持輪者也從車由聲也）。

Shafts and axle (轅軸: the upper [character] has the sound 袁 [yuán]. The Shuowen says: “轅 means the shaft of a carriage. Formed from 車 (carriage) and 袁 as phonetic.” The lower [character has the fanqie] 冲六 [ch- + -uk → zhú]. The Shuowen says: “An axle is that which holds the wheels. Formed from 車 (carriage) and 由 as phonetic”).
