推燥（上退雷反毛詩傳云推去也顧野王云自後排進曰推古今正字云亦排也從手隹聲下蘇竈反周易云火就懆也說文燥乾也從火喿聲喿音蘇到反經作慘非也）。

推燥 ('shifting [the infant] to the dry [spot]'): For the first character, the fanqie is [t- + ui >] tuì and [l- + ei >] léi. The Mao Commentary on the Classic of Poetry says: '推 means to put aside.' Gu Yewang says: 'To push forward from behind is called 推.' The Gujin zhengzi says: 'It also means to push. Composed of 手 with 隹 phonetic.' For the second character, the fanqie is [s- + u >] sū and [z- + ao >] zào. The Classic of Changes says: 'Fire moves towards the dry.' The Shuowen says: '燥 means dry. Composed of 火 with 喿 phonetic.' 喿 has the fanqie [s- + u >] sū and [d- + ao >] dào. The sūtra writes 慘, which is incorrect.
