Bifen [fragrant / sweet-smelling] (the first character is pin mi fan: The Mao Shijing says: 'Fragrant and sweet-smelling (bibi fenfen).' The Kaosheng says: 'The appearance of fragrance.' The Wenzidian shuo says: 'Also fragrant herbs. Both take their meaning from the grass radical, with 必 and 分 respectively providing the sounds.')
