鈔綴（上炒稍反或作抄考聲鈔略取也廣雅掠也說文從金少聲下追銳反賈注國語云綴連也說文綴令著也從糸叕聲經文從心作惙非也叕音猪劣反）。

鈔綴 ('taking excerpts and compiling'; the first character is pronounced with the fanqie 炒 + 稍; it is also written as 抄. The Kaosheng says: "'Chao' (鈔) means to take briefly." The Guangya says: "To plunder." The Shuowen says it is formed from [the radical] 金 with 少 as the phonetic component. The second character is pronounced with the fanqie 追 + 銳. Jia [Kui's] commentary on the Guoyu says: "'Zhui' (綴) means to connect." The Shuowen says: "'Zhui' means to cause to adhere; it is formed from [the radical] 糸 with 叕 as the phonetic component." The sūtra text writes it with [the radical] 心 as 惙, which is incorrect. 叕 is pronounced 猪 + 劣).
