鑱身（上仕咸反淮南子云刻肌膚鑱皮革創血流又謂針刺也說文云銳鑱也從金[毚-、]聲也亦作劖攙[毚-、]音同上）。

鑱身 (The first syllable is *chán* [shi + xian fanqie]. The Huainanzi says: "Carving the flesh and piercing (鑱) the skin until wounded blood flowed." It also refers to acupuncture puncturing. The Shuowen jiezi says: "A sharp piercing instrument; it is formed with 'metal' (金) and [毚-、] as the phonetic component." It is also written as 劖 or 攙. [毚-、] has the same pronunciation as above).
