慘害（上楚錦反說文慘毒也從心參聲律文從石作磣是沙土之磣非此義）。

Cǎnhài 慘害 (cruel injury: the upper [sounded with the fanqie] ch- + [j]ǐn 楚錦反. The Shuowen jiezi says: 'Cǎn 慘 means cruel and poisonous.' It has radical 心 [heart] with 參 as phonetic component. In the vinaya text it is written with radical 石 [stone] as 磣, which means gritty sand and earth, not this meaning).
