樹膠（絞爻反案樹膠者樹脂疑結即如桃膠杏膠等形色似皮膠松脂之類即是也說文𦙠也作之以皮從肉翏聲）。

樹膠 tree resin: jiao + yao fan [jiāo]. Concerning tree resin (shujiao), it is tree sap that has congealed, such as peach resin, apricot resin, etc.; in form and colour it resembles hide glue, pine resin, and the like. The Shuowen says: “Viscous matter. It is made from animal hide.” Derived from ‘flesh’ (肉) with ‘liao’ (翏) as phonetic.
