警覺（上京影反孔注尚書云警戒也亦覺也廣雅云不安也鄭注禮記云警猶起也文字典說從言敬聲）。

警覺 (for the first character, j- + -ing in fanqie. Kong [Anguo]'s commentary to the Shangshu says: 'To warn; also to awaken.' The Guangya says: 'Not at ease.' Zheng [Xuan]'s commentary to the Liji says: '警 is like rising.' The Wenzi dianshuo takes 言 [words] as semantic and 敬 as phonetic).
