捕狙（又作覷同千絮反三蒼狙伺也通俗文伏伺曰狙是也狙亦觀視也謂相候視論文作[木*(刃/一/刃/一)]此字習誤已久人莫辯正）。

Lurking and spying (捕狙: [狙 is] also written as 覷, the same, *qian* and *xu* *fanqie* [= *qu*]; the *Sancang* says: "*Ju* means to watch and spy on." The *Tongsu wen* says: "Lying in wait to spy on is called *ju*." This is it. *Ju* also means to gaze and observe, meaning to watch each other. In the treatise text it is written as [木*(刃/一/刃/一)], which has been a habitual error for a long time, and no one has corrected it).
