槎瀨（上乍沙反考聲云槎水中流木也古今正字從木差聲也經文作楂亦同下來帶反王逸注楚辭云瀨亦湍瀨也漢書云吳楚謂之瀨也古今正字云瀨水流沙上也從水賴聲也）。

Rafts and rapids (槎瀨: the first character [槎] is fanqie 乍沙 [chá]. The Kaosheng says: "A 槎 is driftwood floating in the water." The Gujin zhengzi says it is formed with the wood radical [木] and 差 as phonetic; the scripture text writes it as 楂, which is the same. The second character [瀨] is fanqie 來帶 [lài]. Wang Yi's commentary on the Chuci says: "A 瀨 is a rushing rapid." The Hanshu says: "Wu and Chu call it a 瀨." The Gujin zhengzi says: "A 瀨 is water flowing over sand." It is formed with the water radical [水] and 賴 as phonetic).
