踐蹋（上錢演反鄭箋毛詩車行皃又云踐履也說文從足戔聲戔音殘下談盍反顧野王云蹋蹵也廣雅履也說文踐也從足[日/羽]聲[日/羽]音塔經文作蹹非也）。

踐蹋 ("trampling": the first character is fanqie 錢演 [jiǎn]. Zheng's commentary on the Mao Commentary of the Shijing says: 'The appearance of a chariot traveling.' It also says: 'To tread upon.' The Shuowen jiezi says: 'Derived from 足 with 戔 as phonetic; 戔 is pronounced 殘 [cán].' The second character is fanqie 談盍 [tà]. Gu Yewang says: '蹋 means to kick.' The Guangya says: 'To tread upon.' The Shuowen jiezi says: 'To trample; derived from 足 with [日/羽] as phonetic; [日/羽] is pronounced 塔 [tǎ].' The sūtra text writes it as 蹹, which is incorrect).
