螉蟲（上屋公反方言蜂之小者謂之螉也郭璞注爾雅小細𦝫蜂也說文從虫翁聲也）。

螉蟲 (The *fanqie* for the upper character is [ʔ]- + [kʊŋ] (屋公反). The *Fangyan* states: 'Small wasps are called 螉 [*wēng*].' Guo Pu's commentary on the *Erya* states: 'A small, slender-waisted wasp.' The *Shuowen jiezi* states that it is categorized under the radical 虫 (insect) with 翁 phonetic).
