呼欱（上呼字經文從于作吁書寫人誤也下呼鴿反說文云[口*歠]也從欠合聲經文作哈雖俗用音吐合反非經義也）。

呼欱 (For the upper character 呼, the sūtra text writes it with 于 as 吁, which is a copyist's error. The *fanqie* for the lower character is [x]- + [kəp̚] (呼鴿反). The *Shuowen jiezi* states: 'To sip or suck.' It is categorized under the radical 欠 (yawn/breath) with 合 phonetic. The sūtra text writes 哈; although this is used in colloquial writing with the pronunciation [tʰ]- + [ɦəp̚] (吐合反), it is not the meaning intended in the sūtra).
