蘆菔（上魯胡反下扶福反方言菘菜紫華者謂之蘆菔根菜也俗謂之蘿蔔郭注曰今江東名溫菘實如小豆也說文似蕪菁也並從草盧服皆聲）。

蘆菔 (The *fanqie* for the upper character is [l]- + [ɦuo] (魯胡反); the *fanqie* for the lower character is [b]- + [bʉuk̚] (扶福反). The *Fangyan* states: 'Turnip cabbage with purple flowers is called 蘆菔 [*lúfú*]; it is a root vegetable, commonly called radish (蘿蔔).' Guo Pu's commentary states: 'In Jiangdong today it is called warm cabbage (溫菘), and its seeds are like small beans.' The *Shuowen jiezi* states: 'Resembles the turnip (蕪菁).' Both are categorized under the radical 艸 (grass), with 盧 and 服 as their respective phonetics).
