㱇然（所側反考聲恐怖也服䖍通俗文小怖曰㱇埤蒼曰亦恐懼也公羊傳曰㱇然而駭是也說文從欠嗇聲也經從心作懎誤也嗇音同上）。

㱇然 (The *fanqie* is [ʂ]- + [ʈɨək̚] (所側反). The *Kaosheng* states: 'Terrified.' Fu Qian's *Tongsu wen* says: 'Slightly frightened is called 㱇.' The *Picang* states: 'Also means fearful and terrified.' The *Gongyang zhuan* says: 'Trembling in fear (㱇然) and alarmed,' which is this word. The *Shuowen jiezi* states that it is categorized under the radical 欠 (yawn/breath) with 嗇 phonetic. The sūtra text writes it with the radical 心 as 懎, which is an error. The pronunciation of 嗇 is the same as above).
