虎兕（辭紫反山海經云兕在湘水南狀如牛蒼黑色郭璞云一角青色重千斤說文象形也譜作兕俗字）。

Tigers and rhinoceroses (虎兕): [The second character is read with the fanqie] 辭紫. The Shanhaijing states: 'The si rhinoceros lives south of the Xiang River; in shape it resembles an ox and is dark ash-black.' Guo Pu says: 'It has a single horn, is dark gray-green, and weighs a thousand catties.' The Shuowen jiezi says it is a pictograph. In the register it is written as 兕, a vulgar character.
