常笮（下爭格史記笮壓也說文屋棧舡棧也從竹乍省聲經中從草作芲非也冝從竹）。

常笮 (The second character has the fanqie 爭格. The Shiji states: “笮 means to press down.” The Shuowen states: “The decking of a roof or boat deck. Analyzed from 竹 [bamboo] with 乍 abbreviated as phonetic.” In the sūtra, writing it with the grass radical as 芲 is incorrect; it ought to follow 竹 [bamboo].)
