捫淚（上莫盆反毛詩傳曰捫持也韻詮捫搎或摸𢱢也搎音孫𢱢音索說文捫摸也從手門聲也下良墜反韻詮涕泣淚也說文作涕泣也從木戾聲也）。

捫淚 (the first character is the fanqie 莫 + 盆 [mén]; the Mao Commentary to the Shijing says: "捫 means to hold." The Yunquan: "捫 means to wipe or stroke/feel." 搎 is pronounced 孫 [sūn]; 𢱢 is pronounced 索 [suǒ]. The Shuowen: "捫 means to stroke/feel; from 手 [hand] with 門 providing the sound." The second character is the fanqie 良 + 墜 [lèi]; the Yunquan: "涕泣 [weeping tears] is 淚." The Shuowen writes it as 涕泣 [tears]; from 水 [water] with 戾 providing the sound).
