盋盌（上半未反字書正作𥁊服䖍通俗文云𥁊僧應器也錄文作鉢俗字也下𠛠款反方言云宋楚之間謂盍為盌說文從皿夗聲夗音菀）。

盋盌 ("Almsbowl and dish"): The first character is pronounced with the fanqie 半 + 未 (bō). Character books properly write it as 𥁊. Fu Qian's Tongsu wen states: '𥁊 is the monk's response-vessel (pātra).' The catalogue text writes 鉢, which is a vulgar character. The second character is pronounced with the fanqie 𠛠 + 款 (wǎn). The Fangyan states: 'Between Song and Chu, a hé is called a wǎn.' The Shuowen jiezi states that it takes the radical 皿 (vessel) with 夗 as the phonetic; 夗 is pronounced like 菀 (wǎn).
