濎瀅 (the first character is *d[ū]-tǐng* fanqie; the second character is *y[íng]-dìng* fanqie. The *Kaosheng* says: “*Dǐngyíng* (濎瀅) refers to small waters.” Note that the *Rhapsody on the Ganquan Palace* says: “Truly like the swirling ripples (*dǐngyíng*) of the Weak Water.” The *Gujin zhengzi* also writes it as 榮 with the same meaning, composed of ‘water’ (水) with *yíng* (瑩) as phonetic. The catalogue writes it as 汀瀅; 汀 is pronounced *tīng*. Wang Yi's commentary on the *Elegies of Chu* says: “*Tīng* (汀) is the flatness of a sandbar.” This diverges from the original meaning and is therefore not adopted. 瑩 is *y[īn]-jiǒng* fanqie).
