放習 (The first character has the fanqie fang1-hou4. Liu Zhao's commentary on the Gongyang zhuan says: '放 is like bǐ, to compare or emulate.' Kong's commentary on the Analects says: 'It means to rely on.' The Guangya says: 'It means to follow.' The Shuowen jiezi says: 'It is derived from pū [攴] with fāng [方] as phonetic.' The catalog writes it with rén [人] as 倣, which is incorrect. The second character is the correct form of xí [習]).
