鯨鯢（上𥪰迎反下詣雞反左氏傳取其鯨鯢杜注云大魚也許注淮南子鯨者魚之王也說文並從魚京兒皆聲也）。

Whales and giant fish [i.e., monstrous oppressors] (鯨鯢): the first character has the fanqie 𥪰迎 [jīng]; the second has the fanqie 詣雞 [ní]. The Zuo zhuan states: 'Capturing their monstrous oppressors (鯨鯢).' Du's Commentary states: 'Giant fish.' Xu's Commentary on the Huainanzi states: 'The whale is the king of fish.' The Shuowen jiezi states: 'Both are composed of 魚 ('fish'), with 京 and 兒 as respective phonophores.'
