之舛也（川兖反考聲云舛相背也顧野王云舛差舛不齊也說文云從夕井相背也論從反作舛時用字也）。

Discordant (之舛也: [the character 舛 is] *chuan-yan* [ch- + -ǎn = chuǎn] in fanqie; the Kaosheng says: “舛 means contrary to each other.” Gu Yewang says: “舛 means disparate and uneven.” The Shuowen says: “Categorized under 夕 and 井 mutually opposed.” In the treatise it is written as 舛 with 反, which was the current usage of the time).
