五舶（下音白莊子云以水為舟則稱衛舟太白司馬彪注云太白亦船名也廣雅云舶舟也蒼頡篇云舶大船也古今正字從舟白聲）。

五舶 (Five ocean-going ships): The second character has the sound *bái* [bó]. The *Zhuangzi* states: 'Using water for boats, they are called the boats of Wei, the Great White.' Sima Biao's commentary states: 'The Great White is also a name for a ship.' The *Guangya* states: '舶 (*bó*) means a boat.' The *Cangjiepian* states: '舶 is a large ship.' The *Gujin zhengzi* states: 'It is classified under the radical *zhōu* (boat) with *bái* (白) phonetic.'
