薜茘（蒲計反下力計反或言卑帝梨或云卑帝梨耶或言閇梨多或作俾禮多皆訛也正言[璊-王+弓]茘多此譯云祖父鬼也舊譯云餓鬼餓鬼中最劣者也[璊-王+弓]音補蔑反孔雀王經作俾禮多梁言餓鬼是也俾音卑寐反）。

Bili (薜茘, fanqie 蒲計 [p/ji], the second character 力計 [l/ji]). Also called beidili, beidiliye, beiliduo, or written biliduo; all are corrupt. Correctly spoken it is [璊-王+弓]lituo (preta). Translated here it means 'ancestral spirit'. Old translations say 'hungry ghost' (preta); they are the most inferior among hungry ghosts. [璊-王+弓] has the fanqie 補蔑 [b/mie]. In the Peacock King Sutra it is written biliduo, which in the Liang language is 'hungry ghost', which is this. Bi (俾) has the fanqie 卑寐 [b/mei].
