賜縑（下頰嫌反廣雅緝謂縑說文縑絲繒也從糸兼聲也）。

賜縑 [bestowing plain silk]: The second character is read with the fanqie jia + xian (jiān). The Guangya says: 'To spin together is called jiān.' The Shuowen jiezi says: 'Jiān is variegated silk fabric. It is composed of the [semantic] radical 'silk' (糸) and the sound jiān (兼).'
