繖蓋（上桑亶反下該愛反山名也東觀漢書云天雨天上騎持繖蓋從百餘騎上騎即上騎都尉也諸葛亮集云不得持繖蓋是也古今正字云繖即蓋也從糸散聲傳作傘俗字也）。

繖蓋 (the first character has the fanqie sang + dan [sǎn]; the second character has the fanqie gai + ai [gài]; a mountain name; the Dongguan Hanji says: "When it rained, the Imperial Cavalier held an umbrella, followed by more than a hundred horsemen; the Imperial Cavalier refers to the Chief Commandant of Imperial Cavalry." The Collected Works of Zhuge Liang says: "One must not hold an umbrella," which is this. The Gujin zhengzi says: "A 繖 [sǎn] is an umbrella (蓋); it has the silk radical and san phonetic; the transmitted text writes 傘 [sǎn], which is a vulgar character.")
