Warts and excrescences (贅疣) (the first character is pronounced with the fanqie 隹汭 [zhuī + ruì -> zhuì]; the Mao commentary to the Shijing says: '贅 is like gathering'; the Shuowen says: '贅 means an excrescence; it is composed of the cowrie radical (貝) with 敖 phonetic'; the second character is pronounced with the fanqie 有休 [yǒu + xiū -> yóu]; dictionaries say: '疣 is an affliction'; the Kaosheng says: 'A knot raised by wind under the skin').
