Dragon and bell banners (旂: fanqie 渠希 [qí]. The Zhouli says: "Banners with flood-dragons and dragons are called qí." The Erya states: "A flag bearing bells is called a qí." Guo Pu says: "Suspending bells from the top of the staff and painting flood-dragons on the streamers." The Shuowen jiezi states: "Composed of 㫃 with 斤 phonetic; 㫃 is pronounced 偃 [yǎn]").
