鼓鼙（下陛迷反周禮云旅師執鼓鍾師掌鼓縵樂也鄭玄作縵樂擊鼙以和之說文騎鼓也從鼓卑聲字書亦作鞞也）。

Large and small war drums (鼙: fanqie 陛迷 [pí]. The Zhouli states: "The drum masters held drums and the bell masters took charge of the drums to perform slow music." Zheng Xuan notes: "In performing slow music, they struck the pí to harmonize it." The Shuowen jiezi says: "A cavalry drum; composed of 鼓 ('drum') with 卑 phonetic." Lexicons also write it as 鞞).
